20 Haas Automation, Inc. www.HaasCNC.com ONE SE TUP ONE M ACHINE The Haas Mill Turn The turning spindle drives an 8" (210 mm) chuck at speeds up to 4500 rpm with a 2.4" (62 mm) bore for bar work — rigid enough to rough titanium and steel, precise enough to finish them in the same setup. The tilting milling spindle swings ±110°, with cutting speeds to 12,000 rpm, delivering the power needed for aluminum aerospace structures, and the grunt for titanium and steel. T UR NING MILLING The HMT-540 does the work of a turning center and a full machining center at the same time. Turn a part like a lathe, then mill it in a full 5-axis setup without ever moving it to a second machine. Tighter tolerances, shorter lead times, one setup. WHAT’S NEW
