Y-AXIS MOTION
THE BEST
VALUE Y-AXIS
LATHES IN THE
INDUSTRY
Haas ST Series Y-axis turning centers provide up to ±3" (±76 mm)* of
Y-axis travel (from the centerline) for off-center milling, drilling, and
tapping, and come equipped with up to 6000-rpm* live tooling and a
synchronized C-axis for versatile 4-axis capability.
Long-Bed Models
Extended Z-axis travels for machining longer parts,
with the same superior cutting performance as our
standard-bed lathes. The ST Long-Beds nearly double
the maximum part length in every size class.
Short-Bed Models
The ST-40S, ST-45S, and ST-55S deliver the same large
turning capacity, spindle power, and rigidity as our
big-frame lathes, in a significantly smaller footprint.
Perfect for shops where floor space is at a premium.
Off-center milling, drilling,
and tapping.
Accomplish more with Y-axis live tooling. Combine
milling operations with your turning operations to
reduce part handling and increase overall productivity.
